 Miami-based guitarist, composer, and educator whose music bridges jazz tradition with modern expression. His sound flows between lyricism and exploration—rooted in the spirit of improvisation and shaped by years of performance across the U.S. and Latin America. From Carnegie Hall to the Teatro Nacional de Costa Rica, Fernando’s voice on the guitar reveals both technical mastery and emotional depth. His debut album Transform showcases his original compositions and the dynamic energy of his quartet—music that speaks to growth, movement, and transformation.

Santiago is a dynamic and versatile performer with a broad range of genre bending soul music.

Born in Ecuador of South America, his parents migrated to South Florida when he was a toddler.  Originally of Hispanic cultural descent but he fell in love  with R&B and gospel music during the early parts of his musical development. He went on to study jazz at the local University level and NYU in New York City. Regionally he’s known as keyboardist that has accompanied  dozens of respected vocalists.  Today he steps from behind the keyboard to  bring a carefully crafted journey of soul music through his lens.
