DODO ORCHESTRA is a unique retro-world-jazz ensemble that has enchanted audiences with their vivacious energy and a refined repertoire. Inspired by beats and sounds from all over the world and moved by the timeless appeal of the bygone era, DODO embarks upon crossing times and places, performing with effortless originality gems of the French, German, Italian and Russian retro, samba, Brazilian music, tango, argentine tango. With bold flair we fuse tango and samba, swing and chanson, balkanica and reggae, creating a delicious urban cocktail.

Jason Matthews

Jason Matthews is a Miami-based pianist/keyboardist & producer who was born and raised in Philadelphia. After graduating from the Frost School of Music in 2013, he began his career writing & recording his own collectives, eventually evolving into Miami heavyweights, Electric Kif &TWYN. Since 2014, Jason has toured internationally as a sideman with Ghost Note, Vari Jashree, Danay Suarez, Matt Schofield, Roosevelt Collier, Matis Yahu & Tony Succar and has been a key arranger for Miami’s own chamber orchestra, Nu Deco Ensemble. He has also earned two Latin Grammy nominations for producing, writing, and mixing the entire Danay Suarez’s LP “Palabras Manuales”which was nominated for “Album of The Year” in 2018.

Lucas Apostoleris

Born and raised in New England, drummer/composer Lucas Apostoleris has lived in Miami for the past decade. He has performed with artists such as Dave Liebman, Fabian Almazan, Walter Smith, Troy Roberts, and Martin Bejerano, and is an in-demand sideman involved in a variety of projects in South Florida. As a bandleader, he has released three albums of original music, most recently “It’s Been Good” in 2024.

Aaron Glueckauf

Aaron Glueckauf is a Miami-based drummer/producer and band leader. Known for being versatile, his trios range in styles from straight ahead jazz, funk, to hip hop and soul. After finishing his degree in Jazz at the University of Miami, he went on to tour with Matt Schofield, Danay Suarez, and tour with his own projects Lemon City Trio and TWYN.
