Nikki Kidd & Colin James
Wednesday March 18th
Nikki Kidd earned her Bachelor’s in Studio Music & Jazz Voice with a Minor in Music Business from the University of Miami, where she honed her craft under jazz legends like Kevin Mahogany, Kurt Elling, and John Secada. Voted Miami New Times “Best Jazz Act” in 2018, Nikki has collaborated with icons like Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Michael Bublé, and Aloe Blacc. Her international performances include residencies at the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, Le Speakeasy in Paris, and a recent tour of Russia. Nikki’s first Jazz album is on the horizon, and her singles “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” “Part-Time Lover,” and “Careless Whisper” are streaming now. Lucas Netto

Lucas Netto captivates many with his respect to the classics of jazz while infusing their his influence and voice with new touches and original compositions. Lucas is a Tenor Saxophonist and Clarinetist pushing to propel music to new heights through his daring yet sensitive musical spirit. While focusing on his own compositional voice, he draws inspiration for the great pioneers like John Coltrane, Joe Henderson, Sonny Rollins as well as newer voices such as Walter Smith iii and Marquis Hill. Lucas recently performed at the Vail Jazz Festival in Colorado and Carnegie Hall in New York City. He is inspired by all forms of music including Indian Classical music, hip hop, Afro-Cuban, Western Classical, Brazilian, and more.

It’s known for its blend of Gypsy Jazz, traditional French music, and original compositions, performed in a variety of ensemble formats from duos to full bands. The group’s sound is described as a fusion of different styles, including French classics, jazz standards, and unique original tunes.

Lucas Apostoleris
Thursday March 26th
Born and raised in New England, drummer/composer Lucas Apostoleris has lived in Miami for the past decade. He has performed with artists such as Dave Liebman, Fabian Almazan, Walter Smith, Troy Roberts, and Martin Bejerano, and is an in-demand sideman involved in a variety of projects in South Florida. As a bandleader, he has released three albums of original music, most recently “It’s Been Good” in 2024.

Leesa Richards
