Born and raised in Miami Beach, Melvys is a Cuban bilingual, multi-genre, multi-instrumentalist, performer, composer, arranger, and instructor of her four fluent instruments: Voice, Guitar, Piano, and Ukulele.  Comfortable with a little bit of everything, her main genres are an eclectic mix of Pop, RnB/Soul, Jazz, Latin and more. ABBA, Sia, Nai Palm, Rihanna, Los Van Van, Beyonce, and Joni Mitchell are among some of the many consistent influencing legends in her CD player, and it shows in every electric track that she pours out.

Russ Spiegel

Groovy, swinging, and sophisticated at the same time, versatile guitarist and composer Russ Spiegel hits all the right notes. Covering a wide variety of styles from rock and blues, to funk and Latin, as well as hard-swinging modern and most-modern jazz, Russ has been garnering rave reviews for his performances all around the world. Russ Spiegel is a commissioned composer and arranger, as well as a highlight respected international guitarist, bandleader, writer, musicologist, and award-winning sound engineer.

Fernando Fuenmayor

Born in Venezuela, Fernando is a multi instrumentalist, and Vocalist with styles ranging from jazz Latin and pop. In 2020 Fernando earned a Latin Grammy Nomination for his contributions to the Progressive Venezuelan Folk group "Compasses"   Saxophonist and Flutist in the category of Best Instrumental Album title "Sotavento".

Eric Escanes

Wednesday December 11th

Eric Escanes is a French/American guitarist based in Miami. Four time Grammy Nominated working with Rhiannon Giddens, Valerie June and Cimafunk. Eric has played in many different bands and projects over the years. At the moment he is playing and touring with national act Flo Rida and his main project Electric Kif. He has played and recorded with artists such as George Clinton, Jack Splash, Bobby Caldwell, Brazilian Girls, Andy Garcia, Mayday, Robin Thicke, John Newman, Trombone Shorty, Doug Wimbish, Nigel Hall and many more. Eric’s musical influences span from Jimi Hendrix to Scott Henderson, John Scofield and Michael Landau. In the Summer of 2022 Escanes released his debut LP "Take It EZ" Which represents his road and musical journey. It encapsulates everything that the accomplished guitarist is influenced by. In September 2024 he will be releasing his debut album: “Near and Far”.

Hal Roland

Friday December 13th

     Having recorded with some of the biggest names in pop music, including Barry Gibb and Michael Jackson, as well as performing in some of the biggest concert venues in the world, Hal Roland has enjoyed the levels of success that all contemporary musicians dream of. He started his career touring with 80’s pop sensation Expose’ and Jon Secada. He subsequently began arranging and producing music for the TV show ‘Star Search’. He also was called upon to arrange and recorded the soundtrack for the musical “1492”, which was recognized by the Bush Administration (41) as the official show of the Quincentennial celebration of Columbus Discovering America.  He then continued on to record and perform with many top artists worldwide.

He also is the Program Director for “Jazz Radio Miami”, an internet radio station dedicated to playing and promoting the many jazz artists the live and perform in South Florida.

Fanni Sarkozy

Sunday December 15th

An internationally recognized, highly trained pianist, singer and music educator who is equally proficient in jazz and classical music. Born into a family of musicians, Fanni began her classical piano studies at the tender age of 6. She graduated with Honors at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary with a major in piano in 2004. Fanni started to create music in 2001 and she became an award-winning composer. Her first record released in 2006 in collaboration with Mizar. (Leszek En – NarRator Records) Fanni also known from her music written for films, radio commercials and documentary films. In 2015 she was requested to work with the famous film-director Pal Sandor as a music specialist, and instructor in the movie called „Vandorszineszek”.

Lucas Netto

Thursday December 19th

 Lucas Netto  captivates many with his respect to the classics of jazz while infusing their his influence and voice with new touches and original compositions. Lucas is a Tenor Saxophonist and Clarinetist pushing to propel music to new heights through his daring yet sensitive musical spirit. While focusing on his own compositional voice, he draws inspiration for the great pioneers like John Coltrane, Joe Henderson, Sonny Rollins as well as newer voices such as Walter Smith iii and Marquis Hill. Lucas recently performed at the Vail Jazz Festival in Colorado and Carnegie Hall in New York City. He is inspired by all forms of music including Indian Classical music, hip hop, Afro-Cuban, Western Classical, Brazilian, and more.

Nahuel Santos

Argentine musician & singer: He started at the age of 12 with the bandoneonist Alberto De Ulzurrum, with whom he won the Gold medal for two years. T.J.Bonaerenses Represents Argentina at the Cantuelo al Sol Festival in Havana, Cuba He obtains the awards: Best Work and Best Performance, & Popularity, awarded by the public. Represents Argentina at the Francofolie Festival (Belgium). Upon his return he is part of “Vamos Al Tango” (Konex) 2013/14 he shares the stage with & before more than 200 thousand people. In 2016 it was presented at the National Sea Festival in Mar del Palta, before more than 250 thousand people. “Here I Am” begins to play, in the novel “Somos Familia” (Telefe). October 11 opens the concerts at the World Cup Stadium. Presents album "Aqui am" at Trastienda (Buenos Aires) 2016 shared the stage with at Paseo Hermitage in Mar del Plata and with & at Luna Park. Releases “Tú y Yo”, “I'm going to fall in love” in whose videos Micaela Vicciconte participates. Opens Shows at the Gran Rex Theater. "Soñar, Soñar" goes on sale the next day. The song "Mis Ganas de Verte" is featured in the soap opera "Golpe Al Corazón", broadcast on Telefe. It opens the shows at Luna Park and in the legendary stadium. December 20 releases the video "One Hundred Years of Soledad", a song written together with February 14 presents its most recent single "Mariposas y mareo"

Andre Carvajal

Andre Carvajal is a Flamenco Fingerstyle Guitarist born and raised in Miami with Cuban and Spanish ancestry. Andre's music is a mix of many different cultures, Spain, Cuban, Argentinian, Brazil, American, Italian, playing cover songs from all over the world and trance-like improvisations. Andre has been playing music 20 years, and has been in the performance industry for 10 years. His right hand moves like a butterfly, while the left creates beautiful structured melodies for all to enjoy.

Kiarrah G

Kiarrah Guerra is a Puerto Rican, Italian, and Irish singer, writer and actor who was raised in a family of vocalists and musicians. She has been performing professionally since the age of 19 and made her first official stage appearance at only 9 years old performing Jazz Standards at the Hollywood Playhouse. Since then she has studied in both music, musical theatre and film acting and is locally known as the face of some of South Florida’s greatest Amy Winehouse tribute concerts. Here, at Jass Kitchen, she will be showcasing a blend of genres and vocal styles ranging in Jazz, Pop, Country, R&B, and some Bossa Nova as an ode to her mixed culture and background.
